Düsofix is a thick, pasty technical vaseline (petrolatum) designed exclusively to protect manual MIG/MAG torch front-ends from fusing with flying weld spatter. It is packaged in a robust metal tin and acts as a long-lasting chemical releasing agent specifically for the contact tip, tip holder, gas diffuser, and gas nozzle.

Dip-Coating Technique: The operator dips the hot front end of the welding torch directly into the paste for a brief second.Self-Leveling Uniform Film: The thermal energy from the warm torch melts just enough of the surrounding paste to form a thin, protective barrier coat across the metal surfaces. Excess release agent naturally drips off cleanly into the can.

Pure Technical Petrolatum: Formulated as a technical vaseline that is almost entirely odourless, making it non-hazardous to store, transport, or manipulate on the industrial shop floor.
Silicone-Free Formula: Like all Abicor Binzel welding chemicals, it is entirely silicone-free. This ensures it will not leave subsurface oil fish-eyes or interfere with subsequent industrial paints, electro-plating, or powder coating processes on the adjacent workpieces.
Controlled Viscosity: The paste layer remains thick enough to provide high separation resistance against white-hot spatter beads without clogging gas exit holes or restricting consistent shielding gas flow.

Dusofix is a spatter protection paste for gas nozzles. Biodegradable, special labelling not required, silicon free. The metal can enables the hot gas nozzle to be dipped safely into the Dusofix – even directly after the welding process. The spatter adhesion is reduced by the protective film.
