    An Abicor Binzel TIG ceramic nozzle (commonly called a gas cup or ceramic shroud) is a heat-resistant ceramic sleeve that screws or slips onto the front of a TIG welding torch. It acts as the final containment chamber, shaping and directing the shielding gas (typically pure Argon) directly over the molten weld pool to protect it from atmospheric contamination.
