Kobelco MG-S2CM is a premium solid MIG welding wire within Kobelco's TRUSTARC series.
It conforms to the international standard AWS A5.28 ER90S-B3Mn (often dual-classified as ER90S-B3MnSi due to added silicon stabilizers).

Key Specifications & Applications
Target Materials: Specifically formulated for joining higher-strength, heat-resistant low-alloy steels such as ASTM A387 Grade 22, A335 Grade P22, and A213 Grade T22.
Chemical Profile: Contains a higher alloy composition than the S1CM variant, featuring 2.25% Chromium (Cr) and 1% Molybdenum (Mo). The formulation is heavily enriched with Manganese (Mn) and Silicon (Si) to eliminate porosity and maximize high-temperature tensile strength.
Welding Process: Primarily designed for automatic or semi-automatic Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW / MIG) using Direct Current Electrode Positive (DCEP) polarity.
Shielding Gas Requirements: Optimal performance is achieved using an Argon mix, typically Ar + 2–5% O? or Ar + 5–20% CO?.
