Kobelco MG-S90B91 is an advanced solid MIG welding wire within Kobelco's high-tier TRUSTARC series.
It is engineered to conform exactly to the stringent AWS A5.28 ER90S-B91 international standard.

Key Specifications & Applications
Target Materials: Specifically formulated for joining Grade 91 (P91 / T91) steels, such as ASTM A387 Grade 91 plates, A335 P91 pipes, and A213 T91 tubes.
Chemical Profile: Features a highly complex alloy structure containing 9% Chromium, 1% Molybdenum, and micro-alloyed enhancements of Vanadium (V) and Niobium (Nb). To guarantee premium creep strength, Kobelco keeps the Manganese + Nickel total low (Mn + Ni ? 1.2%).
Mechanical Properties: Provides exceptional high-temperature creep rupture strength and structural stability under extreme stress, ensuring the weld joint does not fail prematurely during extended thermal services up to 600°C–650°C.

Welding Process: Applied via automatic or semi-automatic Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW / MIG) using Direct Current Electrode Positive (DCEP) polarity.
Shielding Gas Requirements: Runs optimally using an Argon-based mix, typically Ar + 5–20% CO? or Ar + 2–5% O?.
