Lincoln PowerInd 400I Package

Lincoln Electric POWERIND 400I is an industrial, inverter-based semi-automatic MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding power source. It provides a max output of 400 Amps and operates as a dual Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) DC machine.

The Lincoln Electric POWERIND 400I is built for demanding production environments like automotive assembly, transport manufacturing, and heavy fabrication shops. It packages Lincoln's latest generation inverter technology into a smaller footprint that allows units to be stacked together to save shop floor space.

The machine comes standard with an independent, lightweight 4-roll wire feeder driven by a servo control motor. This enclosed feeder protects spools from rust and dust while preventing wire slippage. To maximize weld cosmetics, the control system includes an adjustable inductance dial to eliminate spatter and adjustable crater controls to cleanly step down voltage and current at the end of a weld joint. Safety and stability are managed via built-in thermal overload and single-phasing protection circuits.
