Lincoln Electric Square Wave 400 ADV (Advanced) is an industrial-class AC/DC TIG and Stick (MMA) inverter power source. It is heavily engineered to act as a premier choice for high-precision industrial aluminum welding.

The Square Wave 400 ADV brings energy-efficient digital inversion technology to demanding fabrication sectors like shipyards, aerospace, LNG/LPG tank manufacturing, and structural piping. It provides up to 400 Amps of output, operating with a notable 85% electrical efficiency and a tiny 23W to 25W idle draw.

The machine's defining feature is its advanced AC TIG waveform controls. Operators can choose between 4 distinct AC wave shapes and adjust the AC frequency from 40 Hz to 400 Hz to tightly regulate arc focus, directional stability, and the oxide-cleaning balance on thick or thin gauge aluminum alloy.

Control is driven via a clear 7-inch TFT LCD colour display featuring an intuitive parameter graph and a USB data port for tracking weld operations or updating software.

Built to survive rugged worksites, its internal electronics are protected by an industrial IP23 enclosure and fully potted with a double-sided silicone coating to resist metallic dust, moisture, and extreme climates.
