StarBlaze HF 550 is a premium, high-alloy air-hardening hardfacing welding electrode (rod). It is specifically engineered under classification DIN 8555: E6-UM-55-G for surfacing and rebuilding unalloyed, low-alloy, and cast steel components exposed to heavy abrasion, severe compressive stress, and moderate impact.

Air-Hardening Deposit: Achieves its target hardness purely through ambient cooling in still air, completely eliminating the need for post-weld quenching or heat treatments.
Rutile Coating Stability: The specialized flux coating ensures exceptional arc stability, uniform puddle wash-in, very low spatter, and an easily removable slag layer.
Porosity-Free Matrix: Formulated to produce highly dense, uniform weld beads that are entirely free from cracks or internal gas pockets under proper operating conditions.
