StarBlaze MIG 400 MIG Welding Machine (co-developed with Riland) is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade multi-process inverter welding system. Delivering up to 400 Amps of output, it is engineered with a separate (split) wire feeder assembly, making it highly suitable for large-scale steel structures and high-deposition production lines.
The StarBlaze MIG 400 is purpose-built for harsh, continuous-duty industrial environments like shipyards, heavy equipment manufacturing, infrastructure steel erection, and railway engineering. Operating strictly on a three-phase 415V power supply, it incorporates premium Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) inverter technology to keep energy draw highly efficient while producing a powerful, exceptionally stable welding arc.
The key architectural highlight of the MIG 400 is its heavy-duty separate wire feeder console. By detaching the feeder from the main power supply, welders can work across vast factory floors or climb up structural staging without constantly dragging the primary 40-kilogram inverter cabinet behind them. This feeder uses a robust drive system to feed wire smoothly through long torch leads without slipping.
The main panel features an adjustable electronic choke (inductance) dial that gives the welder micro-control over arc stiffness—allowing them to soften the puddle to minimize spatter or increase penetration depth on thick, multi-pass bevel joints. Outfitted with dual digital LED meters, 2T/4T trigger latching logic, and a reinforced industrial framing, it is optimized for high-yield workshop performance.
