StarBlaze SS308L series consists of high-quality, rutile-coated stainless steel stick welding electrodes (rods). Classified under AWS A5.4 as E308L-16, this is the global industry standard for welding common 18/8 austenitic stainless steels, offering excellent corrosion resistance, arc stability, and a beautiful weld finish.

Intergranular Corrosion Resistance: The extra-low carbon content (? 0.03%) prevents chromium carbide precipitation during welding, preserving the alloy's corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zone.
Controlled Ferrite: Formulated with a balanced chemistry to maintain a controlled ferrite number (FN 3–8), providing excellent resistance to hot cracking while keeping low-temperature toughness.
Self-Releasing Slag: Delivers a stable, low-spatter arc covered by a self-peeling slag system that detaches easily, minimizing post-weld cleanup time.
All-Position Capability: Designed to operate smoothly in all positions (except vertical-down), making it highly versatile for field and shop fabrication.
