    StarBlaze SS309L series consists of premium, rutile-coated stainless steel stick welding electrodes (rods). Classified under AWS A5.4 as E309L-16, this electrode features an elevated chromium and nickel content, making it the industry benchmark for joining highly dissimilar metals and applying stainless steel buffer layers.

    Dissimilar Metal Mastery: The over-alloyed chemistry (23% Cr / 13% Ni) compensates for dilution when welding stainless steel to mild carbon or low-alloy steels, preventing the formation of brittle martensite structures.
