STARBLAZE TIG ERNiCrMo-10 is a premier, ultra-low carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum solid TIG welding rod.
It complies strictly with international AWS A5.14 ERNiCrMo-10 standards and is matching to Alloy C-22 (UNS N06022) chemistries.
Often classified as an ultra-high performance "super-alloy" wire, it provides outstanding protection against severe localized pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in highly aggressive industrial environments.
Product Overview & Composition
Alloy Classification: Conforms to the strict global guidelines of
AWS/ASME SFA 5.14: ERNiCrMo-10 and EN ISO 18274: S Ni 6022 (NiCr21Mo13W3).
Chemical Profile: Formulated with a dominant Nickel (Ni) balance (~56%), heavily enriched with 22% Chromium (Cr), 13.5% Molybdenum (Mo), 4% Iron (Fe), and 3% Tungsten (W).
Advanced Corrosion Defense: The targeted combination of high molybdenum and tungsten content delivers better overall resistance to weld-metal corrosion than standard C276, C4, or Alloy 625 configurations.
Media Resistance: Engineered to withstand both aggressively reducing and strongly oxidizing chemical environments, including mineral, formic, and acetic acids, ferric chlorides, and brine solutions.
Compatible Base Materials
This super-alloy filler metal is custom-tailored to provide identical physical properties or a high-strength transition joint when marrying:
Alloy C-22 (UNS N06022), Alloy 622, and matching nickel formulations.
Dissimilar metal joining, such as connecting high-tier nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys directly to carbon steels, low-alloy steels, or standard austenitic stainless steels.
Specialty super-austenitic steels like Alloy 25-6MO and Alloy 825.
